Again, Utile have replaced an old asset with a new Sattler B9 122/250 Double Membrane 2,150m3 ground mounted gas holder and associated Lightning Protection Masts in accordance with BSEN62350, rolling sphere method to LPS1 protection. This was a like for like replacement with the original gas holder, but providing additional safety and resilience for the site. New gas detection was also supplied and installed utilising the latest technology. Commissioned in October 2024 with a 20 year design life.
