Another successful Gas Holder installation for Severn Trent Water at their Wanlip STW, put to work in October 2025. Utile were contracted to replace the Gas Holder that was originally installed in 2015 with a unit to meet current specifications and comply with Severn Trent Water Asset standards. With a useful volume of 1,530m3 the Model B9 120/250 Ceno-Tec gas holder was fitted with two laser level sensors to replace the old single load cell unit to provide accurate and reliable measurement. The original “duty/assist” air blowers were replaced with compliant “duty/standby” units and an ultimate low gas pressure switch was fitted. The existing lightning protection system was retained.
